At Medway Magistrates in Chatham Kent on Monday 11 July 2011 the court threw out a charge of supplying 1kg of cocaine after submissions by Jeremy Betts of My brief Solicitors.

The client had been caught by the police with a bag containing 1 kg of 85% pure cocaine. If convicted he was looking at between 7 and 10 years imprisonment. However after clever arguments and prosecution failings the court threw the case out.

The client was naturally delighted.
