My brief acted for Aaron W who was summonsed in connection with riding his son’s mini motorbike in a public park without insurance, not wearing a crash helmet and driving not accordance with a licence. We investigated whether the park was somewhere where the public had access and having reached the conclusion in this particular case it was, we advanced special reasons so that Arron would not be disqualified nor receive any points. The magistrates, having heard submissions made by Jeremy Betts(Managing Director of My brief Solicitors),agreed with us and he did not receive any penalty points at all. Needless to say Aaron was very happy and agreed to recommend us to all of his friends and family.
