We are led by Jeremy Betts ( known as "J" )a Solicitor who has over 15 years experience in criminal law and who prior to setting up this firm ran a large criminal department in his home county of Kent.
"J" wanted to start up a firm that moved away from the usual image people have of solicitors firms as being remote, stuffy and very expensive.
My brief solicitors is the realisation of that dream. Even the choice of name moves away from the traditional "Smith , Bloggs and Jones " format that has so often been a feature of the legal profession.
The name, My brief ,reflects that we are your solicitors, we work for you in a language that is easily understood. We don't want you to be intimidated and put off seeking help, we want you to look on us as your trusted friend who can give you a nudge in the right direction.
We won't steer away from giving you advice which is robust and you may think at first blush unhelpful. We do that as we want to give you the best possible advice which sometimes maybe something you would have not thought of yourself.
We want to lessen your stress by offering peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that we can provide through our expertise a solution producing the best possible outcome.
